Oats in Coats is the brain child of cofounder Daphne Herlihy who, as a mother of three, couldn’t find an allergen-friendly breakfast option that their kids could actually get excited about (aboat). So Daphne took to the kitchen and started experimenting with different recipes, and she joined forces with Dyanna Salcedo (who was at Minna Sparkling Tea before). Currently Oats in Coats comes in two varieties, Berry and Apple. Each is made using real fruits (and vegetables!), gluten free oats and just a handful of simple ingredients like sea salt and cinnamon. They are committed to products that are free from the top ten allergens (and then some): no dairy, no egg, no fish, no gluten, no mustard, no peanuts, no sesame, no shellfish, no soy, no tree nuts, no sulfites and no wheat.
